Wonderful Vintage Sock Monkey toy up for bids! This sock monkey is from a smoke free home and has been on display not played with. I am cleaning house and parting with some items I have acquired throughout the years now that I have a little one. I hope you enjoy him as much as I have! He truly is fantastic looking and quite a find.This fabulous sock monkey was acquired from a local flea market, I just couldn't pass up that face, and is being sold in the exact condition in which I purchased it. He is a very adorable fellow and sits very well on his own as shown in the pictures. I do not know what he is stuffed with but it is sturdy! He is 19" in length from the top of his head to the end of an outstretched leg. His Tail is 13" in length and has a fantastic ball detail on the end to mimmick a curled tail. The arms are approximately 8.5" in length and the legs are approximately 10" in length. The red heel socks add to the character of this sock monkey giving him wonderful red lips and a red fanny. His black button eyes have sewn eyebrows and eyelashes. The maker also appears to have maybe had something on his chest but I am not sure if it is just a red thread detail or if t were actually something affixed to his chest.
