Vintage Red Wing 1281 Cabbage Leaf Vase or Vessel This listing is for a very nice vintage glazed pottery vase or vessel. It is marked "Red Wing 1281 USA" on the bottom. Measures about 5 inches tall with the top lip measuring 6 inches by 4 inches. Good vintage condition. There is a tiny hairline on side starting at the top rim (see photo). Difficult to tell exactly how long this is - but it is somewhere between 1/4 and 3/4 inches long. After 1/4 inches it nearly fades away. This area is secure and the tiny hairline is very small and really doesn't pose much of a detraction. There are no other chips or cracks. There is fine crazing of the green glaze that is visible when inspected. This is probably typical for Red Wing pottery of this age. The vase is sculpted to look like two open cabbage leaves.
