PURCHASED FROM A QUALITY ESTATE AUCTION IS THIS GREAT SET OF REDWING.... TeaPot, Cream and Sugar, Salt and Pepper set. Bonus matching boot bud vase marked "Made in Japan". T is wonderful Crazing on the Teapot, but NO Cracks, or Chips ! Also a small chip, "mosquito bite" on the rim of the creamer. But considering the age they are in better shape then I am! Sugar Bowl is in Excellent Shape . Included is two M atching Salt and Pepper Shakers without marks , but as stated below they were often NOT marked. All pieces have pattern of flowers on the front and back with blue accenting!! The pattern name is 'Orleans' and the shape is 'Provincial'!! The colors are scrumptious on a white background! This is marked 'Red Wing Pottery Made in USA'. This would make a lovely addition to any collection or table, and a wonderful gift for the collector in your life! FYI: Introduced in 1941, the Provincial dinnerware was the first to be hand decorated. The line consisted of four patterns, Ardennes, Brittany, Normandy, and Orleans. Each pattern has a different hand-painted theme done in beautiful color. You should find that the pieces in this line are marked, with the exception of the salt and pepper shakers and perhaps the candleholders.
