Here is a beautiful vintage silhouette done Smith Frederick and sold by the Reliance Co. This was reverse painted on the glass with the butterfly wing process. A Dutch couple are holding hands and the name of the painting is Double Dutch. It was paired with another painting called Tulip Time. The gold foil really reflects the light and shows great highlights. It is 11 3/4" high and 7 3/4" wide. On the back is the number B.E.-20 "Double Dutch" and a description of the process. It is signed Smith Frederick. Condition is great with no damage, tears or loss of foil. The original frame has some loss of paint. Shipping is $6. Thanks.
