This item comes from an avid restorer collector who has been restoring items from the 40s-70s for over 20 years. One side of this restored parking meter reads: "INSERT COINS IN SLOT AT RIGHT PARK-O-METER FOR POLICE REGULATION SEE OTHER SIDE" The other side reads: "POLICE REGULATION LIMIT 2 NICKELS 2 HOURS 1 TO 10 PENNIES 8 A.M. TO 6 P.M. SUNDAYS & HOLIDAYS EXCEPTED PARK - O - METER PATS. PEND. MAGEE-HALE PARK-O-METER CO. OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. A-18" The meter window can be read from both sides. The meter shows some wear. The owner had it in his home arcade w he let his grandkids incert coins. The meter measures approximately 17" tall x 7.5" wide x 4" thick. The metal pole stand and base measures approximately 36" tall x 2.5" in diameter. The base is 16" in diameter. The meter with the base weighs approximately 28 lbs.
