1960's Hoover Steam Iron Model 4554 This Iron has been lovingly owned by my Aunt since new (so one lady owner),the iron is is A1condition no cracks or chips to the bakerlite handle and the chrome is in great condition and has polished up great.The sole plate has been cleaned with minimal wear considering age.The whole iron has been dismantled and cleaned (these irons suffer with lint/fluff build up inside which give off a 'burning smell' when hot) re-wired with the original flex which is in great shape nice and supple no breaks etc.This iron comes complete with the original instruction (they have been folded) which has no rips or tears just a fold.The box has seen better days although complete it has been repaired but is split and has a small piece missing,the inner box is fine.The iron works fine and does a wonderful job if ironing clothes Any questions please ask
