TWO RARE VINTAGE "Rose Oil Company" matchbooks for sale! Both in excellent condition. All matches are t on both matchbooks. Great for any matchbook collector and/or oil company buff! One side shows the slogan "RIDE with ROSE" with a drawing of a gas station. Has the phrase "THRU-OUT THE SOUTH" written on this same side and a sign that says "Ride with Rose - Your Friend" with an open hand. Below the gas station drawing are the words "QUALITY - PRICE -SERVICE". The other side reveals pictures of a "Superior" car battery, a "Penzoil" and "Rose" oil can and "Peerless Tires" with the logo. The top reads "The South's Largest Indepent Dealers". Made by Universal Match, Memphis.
