This is a beautiful vintage demitasse cup and saucer . It is a white porcelain base painted a burnt orange or terracotta color on the outside of the cup and top of the saucer. The name of the pattern is "Winifred" which has a thick border of flowing rosebuds made of heavy sterling silver overlay. The bottom of the each the cup and saucer are marked "Rosenthal SELB GERMANY WINIFRED". The saucer measures 4-3/8" in diameter and the cup measures 3-1/8" across the top of the cup (not including handle) by 1-3/4" tall. The set is in very good condition, no chips , cracks or repairs. The silver overlay just needs a polishing. This is a beautiful cup and saucer set to add to your collection or give as a gift. Please see all photos and don't hesitate to ask any questions.
