This nice little trinket box is unmarked but my research tells me it is made of walnut with an inlayed agate top, made in Brazil, probably in the 1960s or 1970s. The bottom of the lid, the inside bottom of the box and the outside bottom are all covered in brown felt, a popular choice during those years. It measures, across the top, about 3-1/2"; the inside diameter is about 2-3/4". With the lid on it stands about 2-1/2" tall. It is used, but lightly. There are a couple of very small nicks and a couple of larger scuffs in the wood and it is obvious that the box has contained items from the condition of the interior felt. It isn't damaged but slightly marred. The interior walls have some rough spots. I cleaned it up just a bit but I think with some serious polishing it can be made to look almost as good as new again. It is an estate piece being sold as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets.
