The company that made this old beauty is still in business after over 100 years. The antique you are viewing is the Ruud No. 25 gas hot water heater that was manufactured in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. This particular model has a Patent date of January 14, 1913 -- that was before the First World War!! It could be restored to a working model if so desired. It will need a hole in the copper tubing repaired (see photo) and the original gas burner will have to be replaced. This item will make a great decorative piece -- it is solid cast iron except for the copper tubing, stands 24 inches tall, is 8 inches in diameter and weighs in at 35 pounds. Your questions are welcome -- no reserve.
