VINTAGE SAFFORD FIFTH AVENUE FOUNTAIN PEN ~ Gold Trim ~ Green Marble ~ Twin-tassie ~ Fifth Avenue N ib ~ Circa 1930s ~ ~ New Ink Sac Fitted, Serviced, Nice Overall Condition ~ SUMMARY Up here for auction is a vintage SAFFORD FIFTH AVENUE fountain pen, which was manufactured in USA circa 1930s. This FIFTH AVENUE is a fine example, in classic green marble with gold plated trim. There is no major damage, only showing minor wears and scretches due to age. It bears DOUBLE JEWEL / TWIN TASSIE , with black ends with gold bands on both sides of the pen. The imprint on the barrel is nice. The FIFTH AVENUE gold plated nib is in nice condition. A new sac has been fitted. The pen has been serviced and tested for full functionality. It is rare and very much sought after, of such a vintage pen in nice condition.
