I am not acollector of these items. I am not a grader of any kind and have verylittle experience in grading items. I want to be honest, timely, and provide great service, but buyers should look at the photos and make their decisions to bid from that. I will provide the best descriptions I can based on my observations. Vintage Salad Serving Set Unique Carved Handles The handles are extraordinary as they appear to carved out of bone or similar material and inlaid with what appears to be silver. The actual carving appears to be a duck or bird of some kind, the wings are also crafted out of metal and attached to the sides.This is a really neat unusual serving set. T are no maker marks or other marks. I don't know about the composition of the metal, I am guessing that they are chromed, or nickel. I doubt that they are silver or plate. They were very tarnished but cleaned right up with silver polish.Very little wear, only just a few surface marks.Anyway, I know very little about these but they are really neat.
