I purchased this receiver from MusiCraft in Chicago back in 1975. It has been well cared for and you would be hard pressed to find a finer example of a Sansui Seven unless someone bought one new and never removed it from the box. I have just refinished the wood case by applying two coats of Danish Oil and then hand rubbing the finish. The wood is beautiful and has a more even tone than what is depicted in the photographs. The only flaws on the aluminum faceplate are a small nick (visible in the 3rd photograph - top of unit) and a few small, very minor scratches near the headphone jack and the 1/4" tape monitor jacks. After purchasing a new integrated amplifier back in 1987, I have been using the Sansui 7 as a tuner only, utilizing the preamp output. Before putting the receiver up for sale, I used DeoxIT on all the switches and tested all outputs and inputs. As far as I can tell, everything works as it should and it sounds like an amplifier from its era. All the lights are working. The original laminated front and rear panel information sheet as well as the manual (combination of user manual and service manual) are included. If you are looking for a vintage Sansui Seven , you would not be disappointed with this one. The unit would be packed with the utmost care for shipment within the continental United States.
