This gorgeous oblong scarf took some research, but I believe it is made for the Women's Interclub Council which is an auxiliary group to many large yacht/sailing clubs. It is pure silk, measuring 51" length by 11.25" width. It is printed with nautical flags (red/white/blue) on a white ground; it has a 1"+ navy blue border, and the WIC flag insignia on all four corners. Small tag says 100% silk, but no other attribution. Rolled edges. No stains! No holes! Freshly laundered, air dried, and pressed on reverse. I do not use starch or scent and I do not iron folds. This is quite charming for the maritime enthusiest, or the women's yacht or sailing club member. Lovely in every way! Smoke free home; ships wrapped in a bubble mailer via USPS First Class.
