Vintage Schaefer Beer Watch Sign Clock Unused In Box
Sold For:

Up for bid is a vintage Schaefer Beer Watch Sign clock. It is new, unused in it's original box. It is in excellent condition with only a few minor problems. The top of the watch is off, I'm not sure if they shipped it this way or it came off through the years, but it can easily be glued back on. I'll leave it off so it doesn't get messed up during shipping. T are also two stress fractures to the plastic w the screws are screwed in(see Pics). And t is some minor paint loss around the edges. The cement is missing to cement it to a cash register or shelf lip. Crazy glue or something similar could be used. It comes with the original directions, but they have been ripped. This is from the 1950's but the bottom still has the original packing tape on it so I can't open it to see the exact date. The cord is in excellent shape and still wound as it was shipped. I plugged it in and let it run for a little while and it works fine. Keeps time and lights up. It measures approx. 8 3/4 inches high without the top, 111/4 with it on, 8 1/2 inches wide and approx. 4 inches deep. It is gold, red and white in color. The back reads: THE F.& M. SCHAEFER BREWING CO., NEW YORK,N.Y. CODE # 321. The back is metal and the front is plastic. It is shaped to look like a wrist watch. The box is in fair condition with stains, rips and the top has been cut off. All in all this is a great unused piece. Hopefully the pictures will help. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck.
