You are bidding on a vintage Violet Schwinn Starlet III ladies 26" bicycle. Original parts include chrome fenders, glitter grips, horn tank (although the horn does not work), Schwinn "S" seat, Schwinn diamond block pedals, front carrier, rear Rocket Rack carrier with reflector tips, Bendix Red Line coaster brake, S7 tubular rims, and the rear reflector (6 pie) but it has a small hole in it. Rims are mounted with Kelly Springfield "Celebrity" 26 x 1 3/4" tires. In good shape with a small amount of dry rot but since they have inner tubes they still hold air. Serial # is LD25608 which I believe means it was made in Nov. 1968. Overall the bike looks great for its age. It does have some flaws but I feel they do not detract too much from the appearance. The brackets for the fenders have been painted black, t is some light rust but should clean up nicely with steel wool, the front fender has a dent about 2" x 1" and the paint does show some fading but is still colorful. All in all this bike would be great for riding the boards at the beach or down some country lane. I will remove the handlebars and the pedals and maybe the wheels for shipping. Shipping will be $45.00 to east coast, $55.00 central and $65.00 to west coast. Local pick up also welcome. Good Luck and Happy Bidding.
