Hello. Listed is a set of vintage Schwinn Stingray 5 speed rims, for the stick shift. Both rims have really nice chrome, no flaking, with just a few very minor scuffs & tar spots. The front rim is perfectly straight, but is missing a few spokes. Has Schwinn APPROVED MADE IN FRANCE E stamped on the center hub. Has SCHWINN TUBULAR stamped on the inner rim, between the spokes, & has the grooved, or lined center rim characteristic of Schwinn Stingray rims. The rear rim, equally as nice chrome, has all the spokes, hub works fine, but is missing a hub cover & nut. But bearings are good, tight & smooth, and has a nice Chrome center spoke cover is mint as well. This rim also has the same stamping on the center hub. This rim has SCHWINN stamped on the inner rim, in the lines as well. To say they're S-2 or S-7 rims, we're not sure, for on the front rim, where it's stamped, we see S- ..& then there is a spoke/spoke hole right over where the number is stamped. But, we've been informed they are S-5 rims, for a pre-1975 fastback. So though not perfect, needing a few spokes & a hub nut, these rims are straight & will polish up like very nice(near mint) & roll great.
