Beautiful vintage sterling silver Scottish agate and amethyst thistle brooch.There are six agates set in the engraved silver surrounding two central thistles which are topped with amethysts.The brooch measures just under 4.5cm in diameter and has a secure pin and c fastening.I think at least three of the agates have been reglued and one of the amethysts has been reglued on to the top of the thistle - please see all the pictures to see the condition. There is some tarnishing particularly to the back of the brooch.I have tried to point out all the flaws on the brooch. It still remains beautiful, despite the flaws.If you have any questions please contact me.I only post within the UK and send everything by recorded delivery.
