VINTAGE SEARS FLIGHTLINER MENS TANK+LIGHT BIKE/BICYCLE! � Description Here is an original early 1960s VINTAGE men's SEARS FLIGHTLINER bicycle with 26" wheels. It is in the original and very appealing red colored factory paint. If you like cool unrestored original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! *This is a cool bike and you dont see them often! It has a cool double bar cantalever style frame, frame mounted TANK with headlight, (yes the lens is there) chrome Flightliner chainguard, and MORE! I like the red pedals and matching seat. *The tires are 26x1.75". They are vintage WHITEWALL tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome rims front and rear. The rear hub says Mattatuck All American Made In USA.*The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike)*DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/2". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/2". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22". The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. *NOTED FLAWS The bike would need a total resto from top to bottom to be a show quality bike. I believe the paint is original but has scratches chips and wear. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. I am not sure if the tank is original to this bike or not. The left pedal has some warp to it. Enjoy it as a "Rat Rod" type bike or restore it for show. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid. *This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by.
