VINTAGE, SEVEN DIAMOND, 14K YELLOW GOLD RING, SIZE 10: My eight photos and two illustrations, should give you an excellent idea, as to this 14K yellow gold ring's appearance and the ring's overall physical condition. My two sketches have not been drawn to any scale, but are simply meant to give your mind's eye a better understanding of the basic design of this ring and the overall shape of its seven diamonds. I will not even begin to venture a guess, as to the combined weight of the ring's seven diamonds! My jeweler would not go on record on that subject, unless I allowed him to take the diamonds out of their ring mountings! I would not allow him to do that. Notice, the ring's seven diamonds are mounted on a raised square of silver colored metal? This silver colored metal has never showed any sign of tarnishing, so it may, in fact, be white gold? This is an old ring, for it was acquired with estate jewelry. As I have come to understand it, white gold was very popular in the 1920s, becoming very attractive to compete with platinum jewelry.
