Beautiful vintage metal bookends were covered in gold leaf, giving them a very weathered italian look. I have no idea where these were made, and there are no identifying markings on them. The bookends measure 6 1/2" H x 5 1/8" W x 2 1/8" Thick. The bookends are quite heavy (a little over 6 1/2 lbs) and I am not certain what sort of material they are made of. Perhaps chalkware, pottery or resin? Can't tell. They are lovely! Please read condition description above and feel free to forward any questions, all sales are final!
