There is discoloration/wear on the gold filled trim. We did not feel any cracks on the cap. The nib is marked Lifetime- it has ink build up but appears to be intact. There are a couple of bite marks near the end of the pen body. Please look at the photos for exact condition and in the event we have missed something in the written description. Sold as is- as shown. This is a used item. It MAY show wear from age dirt or use. We do not know if this item works or if it needs repair. We can only comment on the cosmetic condition .
