Vintage Sheaffer's Cartridge Pen and Pencil Set You are bidding on a Vintage Sheaffer's Cartridge Pen and Pencil Set. Included in the set is a #305 Fountain Pen, a mechanical pencil, four empty ink cartridges, the original box, and the original instructions. The wording on the mechanical pencil is "W. A. Sheaffer Pen Co Fort Madison. Iowa. U.S.A. Made in U.S.A." The wording on the fountain pen is: "W. A. Sheaffer Pen Co Fort Madison. Iowa. U.S.A. Made in U.S.A." The nib on the fountain pen has the following engraved: "Sheaffer's 305 Made in U.S.A." The pen and pencil appear to be in "very good" condition. I do not see any cracks or melt marks on the pen or pencil. The body of the pen and pencil do have light wear from normal use. I believe this set was made in the third quarter of 1956 as seen on the bottom left corner of the instruction booklet (3-56).
