This vintage silver plate shell serving tray would be perfect for any hors d'oeures and dip, due to the glass bowl and toothpick holders that attach to the shell bowl. Possibilities would include shrimp and cocktail sauce, chips and dip, raw veggies and ranch dressing, nachos and salsa, etc. The bowl measures 12 1/2" long, 10 3/8" wide, and 5 1/8" tall at its longest, widest, and tallest points. The shell well is approximately 9 1/2" long, 9 1/2" wide, and 2 1/4" deep. that would hold a lot of hors d'oeuvres! The glass dip bowl insert measures 3 1/2" wide and 2" deep. There are two silver plated toothpick holders, one on either side of the glass dip bowl. The shell is marked Sheridan on the underside.The shell bowl is in good condition, but it needs a good polishing. There are no dents or dings. The glass bowl is also in good condition, without any chips or cracks. The silver plate toothpick holders also need a good polishing, and the back of one has some old food waste or soiling on it, which appears to have started to oxidize. I have captured this area in the last close-up photograph for you to see. It may clean and polish away, but I am unsure. If it doesn't completely clean away, you can always turn that part to the back and no one would see it.Please review all of the photographs for additional condition reporting.Posted with
