Ships Stateroom Cabin Faucets This is a vintage set of hot and cold water faucets removed from the British Packet Ship SS Lady of Man. This vessel was scrapped in Scotland in the early 1970's. She was built in 1936 and served for over 30 years.. The pair of faucets are made of solid brass and chrome plated. They operate by pushing down on the lever and holding it down..when you let go it pops up and shuts off the water. Typical of ships faucets were water cannot be wasted. Brass and faucet O rings are mande in many sizes and I think it would not be difficult to find replacements for these faucets if need be.. I have measured the diameter of the threaded water connection hole underneath and it is 3/4" wide and I have put a threads per inch gauge on the threads and it reads 28 per inch......The two faucets way 3 lbs and can be shipped in a Medium Flat Rate Box for $ 10.75 in USA.......elsew email me for shipping quote....Sold AS IS....NO RETURN.....
