Y ou arebidding on a Vintage Double Sided Silk Escape Map. (RAF/SAS) Restricted Dimensions: 42” x 31” Approx Scale: 1:1,000,000 Side A: ONC H-4: Libya Includes the following: Agedabia Bengasi Ras Lanuf Wadi Bu Maras Oasi di gialo Maabus El gerad Garet Umm El-garanigh Gur-El-ferid Oasi di taberzo Serir Nerastro Side B: Published by the United States Aeronautical Chart and Information center USAF GSGS Misc 350 fabric Chart ONC H-3 Libya Includes Sirtre Bir Ziqrar hamada El Hamra (Libyan Sahara Desert) Uaddan Idehan Plus other small towns and villages. The mapcame to me from a friend who was given a large box of these from a former SAS officer in Hereford. Apart from that I can’t really give much information except for what is on the map. I have lots of different maps, the majority from the late 50s and 60s.
