Vintage Silver Plated Grouse Birds- Male & Female Ornaments This are a great matching pair of small silver plated grouse orpossibly pheasants ornaments that would display well on a mantle or desk. The birds both marked made in England with a letter C have been detailed well with every feather and feature standing out. The male bird has his chest plumped out and is standing proud while the more demure female who is a little unstable on her feet is more subservient being lower to the ground. This would make a lovely gift for a lover of game birds or a collector of silver plated bird and animal ornaments. Measurements: Height: 5cm and 8.5cm Condition: Very good vintage condition commensurate with age with all detail intact with the female not being the easiest to stand up as previously mentioned.
