Vintage Singer 404 Sewing Machine with the folding Singer Simanco Table! This is the complete package! Singer Sewing Machine 404 with plastic bottom case. It was made in 1958. The serial number is 865820. What I have read declares it to be a workhorse. My experience with sewing is sewing a straight line and that I did with the machine. It is clean, the chrome and labels are bright, paint is shiny and the light works. The motor runs smooth and quiet and sews a beautiful straight stitch. Original cords and foot pedal are in excellent shape. Visually the only part that looks worn is the rubber bobbin tire. It is stiff and worn. Singer Simanco Table in overall fair condition. It is square and measures 31 11/16” trim included. It is 28 1/2” tall. There is typical wear to the finish on the sewing side of the machine where ones arm would lay. There are some surface scratches here and there, and a swipe of white paint on one of the side of the trim. The underside looks new, and here it is identified by the number H221013 engraved. The number is also on the back of the wood pop out. It looks like a white wash technique underneath but in a tan color. In the hole where the sewing machine sits, there are metal brackets labeled Simanco USA 148121. The metal legs are tan and have normal age wear-not bad.
