Vintage Singer 72W Hemstitch Sewing Machine For your consideration: one vintage Singer Hemstitch Machine. This one was manufactured in the early 1900s. I bought it several years ago and planned to use it, but life has gotten in the way and I want someone else to use and enjoy it. model: Singer 72W12 serial number: W424374 This listing is for the head only and is sold in "as is" condition. The handwheel is broken (see photo) and one of the spool pins is missing. Even with the hand wheel broken, I was able to turn it and the hemstitch machine turns free and smooth. The fabric sample of the stitches was under the needles and shows beautiful hemstitching. I removed the fabric to lightly clean the machine. The Singer Hemstitch machine has two needles, a piercing bar, two bobbins and two bobbin cases. I'm including several small pieces (see last photo) that were included with the hemstitch machine when I bought it. Please e-mail all questions prior to bidding and allow up to 24 hours for a reply.
