1953 AL530701 Featherweight is in almost perfect condtion: has a scratch on the folding bed, the green ribbon points to it in the picture, and some wear on the "Singer Manufacturing Co." decals. All other decals are factory fresh perfect. This machine was throughly cleaned, oild and lubed. The bobbin assembly picture shows very little wear for the age, it is in almost new condition. The mechanical condition overall is excellent, shows very little use. The outside of the Featherweight is cleaned and has several coats of a high quality wax that will help maintain it's pristine condition for years to come. This model also has the graduated throat plate to make easy seam allowances. I have tested this machine over several weeks, and the timing has been adjusted to sew perfectly. I made a "chinese coin" and "log cabin" quilt block on this Featherweight to ensure that it sews perfectly. The foot controller is in excellent condition also. The case has little odor and comes with two keys. The orginial manual is in good shape. The attachments include: ruffler, edge stitcher, binder, hemmer foot, adjustable hem guide, and gathering foot.
