Out of that sale we ended up with two class rings this week, we are putting them up in separate auctions. Check them out. This is the second of the two, it is a Cavalry Scout Ring. With a skull & crossbones on the front, the top of the gem at the top of the skull is chipped & cracked, most likely from punching someone or something. One side reads Scouts Out and has crossed sabers, the other side has the name Lenhardt and the American Eagle Seal. Size 8 3/4. The Cavalry Scout is the job title used to refer to someone who has achieved the military occupational specialty (MOS) of 19D Armored Reconnaissance Specialist in the United States Cavalry branch of the United States Army.
