You're bidding on a vintage Slingerland 3 piece drum set. This kit has a 14" x 22" (diameter) bass kick drum, a 14" x 16" (diameter) floor tom, and a 8" x 12" (diameter) rack tom. All of the drums have their original sliver and black Niles Slingerland name badges. Serial numbers: 486223, 490450, 489386. The badges are in great shape! All of the shells have their original shell finish. It looks to be a real wood veneer outer shell finish stained in dark brown. As far as I know this shell finish is original and has not been refinished. However, it probably does NEED to be fixed up and refinished. There are scratches to the shell finish on all of the drums - Nothing too deep or major - review all of the pictures. There is no major damage to any of the shells - no cracks or extra holes. The bearing edges on each drum are in good condition. Shell thickness on each drum is approximately 3/8" - These are heavy duty shells! Each drum has their original Slingerland lug casings and hoops. For more details read below: Bass Drum- This Slingerland bass drum includes its original center tom tom mount (see picture #2). This part is chrome plated and in good to great condition. It includes its original thumb screw, but the mounting post / rod is missing. No rust! The bass drum also includes its original spur mounts. These mounts are also chrome plated; they are missing the thumb screws and spurs/rods. The lug casings on this bass drum are original and include their original threaded insert nuts, springs, and mounting screws - no missing parts and no rust. All of the lugs are in good working condition. This is a 10 lug bass drum - there are a total of 20 lug casings on this bass drum. All of the bass drum hardware needs a good cleaning / polishing. The bass drum hoops are in fair to good condition and include their original chrome (1/2") wrap inlays. There is no major damage to the hoops and they appear to be in round. No claws or tension rods included in this auction. Floor Tom- This Slingerland floor tom is a single sided / single head drum. It includes its original aluminum trim on the bottom of the shell. The floor tom also includes 3 original floor tom leg mounts - with thumb screws. However, the floor tom legs are missing. The mounts are chrome plated and in good condition - no rust! This floor tom has 8 single sided Slingerland tom tom lug casings. These lugs are original and chrome plated. They are in good working condition and there is no rust or pitting. All of the lugs have their original threaded insert nuts, springs, and mounting screws. The floor tom hoop is chrome plated and appears to be in round. It has some minor surface rust and flaking. However, it is in working condition and the hoop is an original Slingerland Stick Saver rim! All of the floor tom hardware needs a good cleaning / polishing. No tension rods included in this auction. Rack Tom- This Slingerland tom tom is also a single sided / single head drum...and it includes its original aluminum bottom trim. The rack tom has 6 lug casings (original small Slingerland type) that are all chrome plated. The lugs are in good working condition and the chrome is too - no rust. The lugs include their original threaded insert nuts, springs, and mounting screws. No tension rods included. The original Slingerland Stick Saver tom tom hoop is in good working condition and has minimal rust. This tom tom also includes its original rack mount (see picture #8).
