Available for auction, I have this original, vintage brass good luck token/coin for the Oreno Fishing Lures, South Bend Bait Company, South Bend, Indiana. It comes to you in excellent condition, with no major issues, but simply the patina you see that has developed on the outside. It measures 1-3/8" in diameter, just under 1/8" thick, and is quite heavy for what it is. On the front it says "FISH AND FEEL FIT! SOUTH BEND A NAME FAMOUS IN FISHING. SOUTH BEND BAIT CO. SOUTH BEND, IND." along with a fisherman raising his arms in the air and an Oreno lure and a reel on the sides. On the back is says "THIS ORENO TOKEN IS A SYMBOL OF GOOD FISHING LUCK. ITS CHARM WILL BRING JOYS TO YOU." along with a fish reaching out to grab one of the South Bend Oreno lures. So if you happen to collect vintage and unique good luck tokens, or are a collector of vintage South Bend Oreno lures and related items, this is definitely a very nice cross-over collectible.
