Item: Monogram Flying Scale Models Boeing PT-17 Kaydet USAAF and USN Pre and WWII Primary Trainer rubberband powered stick and tissue Flying Model, dated 1957 Kit # G5-100 Scale: none given Description/condition: Direct from the Historical Archives of tarfu7's massive underground warehouse complex you never know what you are going to find. We present for your consideration this long out of production original issue 50 plus year old Kaydet kit that is in near excellent condition inside and out. The 2 piece full color box is solid and tight without rips, tears or split corners and has bright, beautiful graphics with classic artwork. There is a very small crease in the lower left corner, a slight push to the top, a bit of a bow and very minor edgewear. It still holds up very well, is presentable and a great example of this kit. Inside the kit is 100% complete. The plastic prop, engine and pilot along with the clear acetate for the windscreens (2) have been bagged. The tires and metal rivet are still stapled shut in the factory wax paper bag. The photos show the rest of the pieces and the tissue is included and is in excellent condition and still folded inside the directions. You can see that the decals are in excellent condition as well. Metal landing gear, excellent condition original rubberband, the yellow printed wood without any parts punched out and the original sandpaper are all included.
