You are viewing an authentic SPORTS SPECIALTIES "The Pro" Boston RED SOX hat from the late 1980's. SPORTS SPECIALTIES was the only competitor to NEW ERA that supplied hats to MLB clubs at that time. After 1992, NEW ERA controlled the MLB market and the MLB logo began to appear on the back of the hats. This hat features the classic green underbill and NO MLB logo (pre1992). This hat is 100% wool and sized at 7 1/4 (sizes ran smaller back then). This is not a throwback, snapback or mesh replica, but is the real deal . This hat is NOT brand new, but it is in good, clean condition. It has not been worn, only displayed, but may have some minor spotting on the headband from age and display. Judge the condition for yourself from the images.
