Vintage STAFFORDSHIRE "Nut Brown Ale" TOBY MUG Up for auction is a great vintage ceramic toby mug. It depicts a man drinking ale and sitting on a barrel marked "Nut Brown Ale". It measures 4 3/4" tall and 3 3/4" in length, not including the handle. The bottom of the mug is marked "Genuine Staffordshire Hand Painted Snorter & Son Ltd. England". This toby mug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The back of the rim of the mug has a small section w the paint is matte instead of glazed.
