This item is a WONDERFUL VINTAGE RARE Stangl Cigarette/Trinket Box with Lid in the Citrus Fruit Pattern......manufactured between 1948-1952. It has a colorful fruit design on the top of the Lid and on the 2 short sides.......SEE PICTURES. It measures approx. 4 and 3/4 inches by 4 inches, and 2 and 3/8 inches tall to the top of the Lid. It is marked on the base of the Box and the underside of the Lid "Stangl".....the Lid also has the number "3798".......SEE PICTURE. This item can be found in Runge's Stangl Collector's Encyclopedia at p. 324. It is in EXCELLENT vintage condition with NO chips, cracks or repairs.......t is a very tiny/thin nick to the one of the corners of the Lid........VERY MINOR & barely noticeable.......mentioned only for accuracy sake. Bright streaks/spots in PICTURES is from camera/background glare and NOT on the item. SUPER VINTAGE PIECE!! Thanks for looking.
