Wonderful estate find. Great size, this quilt measures a generous 72" x 107". Made from fabric scraps in a colorful array--see al pics below. I don't know the name of the pattern. It is a 4 pinted star in a circle--very compass like. No stains, spots, tears or wear marks. No smell like so many quilts. Much of the pieces are stitched together by hand, although some soes appear to be machine stitched. It is not quilted but hand knotted instead. Quite heavy. The back is two seperate fabrics--see pics for that as well. Shipping and handling on this heavy piece will be $15.00. Please Note: I will gladly answer any questions you have regarding my items. If you are not sure whether or not this applies to you, please email for details. Shipping Details: I live and travel in an RV and am not always close to a post office. However, all items will ship within one week of payment--usually much sooner. Small lightweight items ship First Class, most others ship Priority Mail. Large or heavy items may be shipped Parcel Post or UPS, depending on the cost. Books, Records, CDs, and Tapes ship Media Mail unless other arrangements and payments are made in advance. Individual emails notifying of shipping will not be sent. For the most part I use Paypal's online shipping service. If your package is 1/2" or more thick you will receive an email with a delivery confirmation number. This is not a "tracking" number and updates are not made throughout the shipping process, only when delivery is attempted or accomplished. Insurance is strongly recommended. I cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping. It is up to you to indicate that you want insurance and include the proper amount--$1.35 for up to $50. $2.50 for $50-$100 and and additional $1.25 for every $100 tafter. I will only purchase the amount of insurance you send payment for. So if the item's value is $80 and you send $1.30--you will only receive $50 insurance. These rates apply to US and Canadian customers. Other international bidders please see note below. Multiple Auctions: A multiple auction Shipping and Handling discount is available when auctions are paid together on one transaction. Paypal charges a per transaction fee and I can only offer a discount when payment is combined. The eBay checkout and payment system will automatically deduct the $1.50 when you checkout. Sometimes deeper discounts are offered and these will be stated in the item listing. If several items are purchased I offer very discounted shipping and handling, please wait for invoice at end of auction.
