The items we offer for sale do not originate from other collectors, auctions or dealers. All of our items come directly from the personal collections of employees in the film, TV and toy industries. This was acquired directly from a former Kenner employee and has never been offered for sale before. This was previously owned by the employee and is being offered for sale here for the first time. This is a very rare store display for the early introduction of the Star Wars line. Featuring 3 of the first 12 figures to be released, this display would have been placed in the aisle at the consumer level to promote the line. This particular example was never used and has remained in the shipping envelope since 1978. The shipping envelope is nearly as rare as the display and some would argue even rarer still. Envelopes for these displays have so rarely come up for sale that it's possible only a handful exist. More than likely this is the most pristine example of this display to surface, if you were looking to upgrade yours now would be the time.
