Vintage Starlux unmarked figures. I grouped these together based solely on color! They are all an orange/ rust/ brown color. Maybe a dark butterscotch color! Many weapons and instruments. I do not notice anything missing. Much discoloration- no idea if they will clean up or not. None of them are marked. Different hats- pith helmets ?, bucket type hats with fabric to cover neck, and one very cool rider wearing a red cape and red fez! Very interesting! So, 's the story... my husband's great uncle or something was a toy salesman "back in the day"! We found this huge salesman's sample case (you can see it in some of the listings) full of plastic figures. A handwritten railroad shipping label that was on it is dated 1953 or 1963- too faded to be sure, but family info says 1953. The case itself had some major holes and tears- it was made from wood and canvas type material- and had to be dismantled and thrown out. Most of the figures are Starlux. I will make every effort in descriptions to be specific on that. The figures are in varying degrees of messed up! Many have glue stuff on the bottom from being mounted. Lots of moisture got to the case. Many figures are mounted on their display rows and they are being listed like that- should show up in photos.
