Up for bid is a vintage Steiff Hoppy running rabbit and is EAN #1308,00. The nose and mouth are hand-stitched in red, the rabbit has wonderful brown glass eyes with black pupils and excellent air brushing. This rabbit has his ear tag with raised script button, his chest tag, and his original light blue ribbon around his neck with the bell. The mohair on the rabbit is in excellent condition, he measures 8 cm (about 4") and he was made from 1959-1967 This rabbit comes from the smoke-free home of a collector. The rabbit can viewed on page 161 of Steiff Sortiment, 1947-1995. Shipping may be combined if bidder wins more that one auction.
