Except for one that had an enameled lid, this stein charm is the BEST one I've ever seen! If you love larger charms, you'll love this one. It weighs a whopping 13 grams and measures 1" by 1" by 1/2". This is a traditional Hofbrau Haus HB charm with those letters engraved on one side and the RAMPANT LION, symbol of Germany, is on the other side. The entire body of the stein, including the handle, the thumb lift, and the lid are done in hammered silver, a style which was very much a part of the Arts & Crafts movement. T is even a shield on the top of the stein. It opens and closes very easily but very securely, is in excellent condition with a very dark patina, and is hallmarked 835 for the silver content on the bottom. I would date this charm to the early 1950's. I am offering this charm at NO RESERVE and a low opening bid. Shipping will be $2.00 with optional insurance extra.
