Vintage Diablo MFG Co. Western belt buckle in a nice 3 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall size. Weighs 2.6 ounces. Can Accomidate a blet up to 1 1/2 inches wide. Buckle is solid sterling silver and marked "Sterling" and "Diablo MFG Co." on back. I have not polished or cleaned this belt buckle. It comes to you in "As found" condition. T is a scratch across the gold horses head that needs to be polished out, or you may like the idea that this buckle has a history and leave it be. Best guess on age is between 1940 and 1960. The horsewoman who owned this buckle also owned the gold locket that I am selling this week in another auction. She had a photo of her horse in that locket. That is how much she loved him. She also owned the gold horse head pin that is listed as well. This comes from a NON SMOKING home.
