This is a magnificent rhinestone necklace by Deri, - or as marked D’eri Sterling. It has clear rhinestones stones with multiple kinds of cuts, and all are securely held in place with hand set prongs. None of the stones are dull nor are loosing any color. It is just so difficult to get the lighting perfect to show the beauty of the piece. I did not do any excessive cleaning as I do not want to damage the necklace. It has been kept in a box for all these years, and at the most only worn few times. The overall length is about 9 inches (each side) and ends with a hook closure. The star in the center measures about 1 ¾ inch across. The sterling and designer mark is on the back of the star (as pictured). Please ask if you have any questions or want more pictures. Thank you for your interest. About the Company: The owner and designer of D'eri was Ralph Scudieri, and first used his mark in September 1951. He designed for many companies including Sarah Coventry. This necklace is one of the finest examples of his work. Truly a beautiful one of a kind winter festive piece!! D’eri pieces are rare, and you do not come across a lot of his designed signed jewelry.
