This Sterling Silver bracelet was handmade in the home by a Navajo artisan for useas family jewelry and pawn trade. The finely cut and polished turquoise stone, a pearlescent green hue in color, with a steel grey matrix appears to be from the Santa Rita Mine in New Mexico, shows some naturally occurring fissures and abrasions; and the coral gem shows an abrasion, however both are in excellent condition and securely seated. The bracelet is a size 6 1/4, theopening is 1 3/8 inches (which is included in the size) and it weighs 73 grams (2 5/8 oz.). The bracelet measures 2 1/4 inches at its' highest point. The design, which features 3 separate braces, leaf and rain motifs surrounding the stones, and is of the old pawn hand stamped tradition used before the advent of commercialized shop production and machine stamping. I am not a professional eBay seller. I collected pieces on my many trips through the Navajo Reservation as a delivery driver 1965 through the 1990's. I made it a point to stop for lunch breaks at trading posts and pawn shops along the way.
