You are looking at a unique, Remarkable STERLING SILVER dish . This piece of Art is beautifully crafted with great attention to detail. Look, what a delicate touch! It has a very nice form and a superb, exceptionally design with floral and scroll decoration. T is no monogram. This is very collectible item, RARE FIND. It came from an estate sale in Maryland and is in very nice antique condition: no cracks, no dents or any damage. It is perfect! This absolutely gorgeous and a very elegant piece of Art is very well marked on the front: LION (Sterling Silver mark); CROSS; P on shield (Date Letter); Maker Mark HM The present color patina that has developed is a combination of the original and of natural age/exposure which results in a slow darkening over time. I am assuming this can easily be cleaned off, but I have made no attempt to do so for fear of devaluing the item.
