MAGPIE & CO. SALVAGE Matthew Goldman, Proprietor SWEETHEART NECKLACE A beautiful vintage necklace and pendant. I would date this one circa 1940-1960. Sterling silver set with a deep red garnet. The hinged book-style locket has a bright, mirrored finish and scroll decoration. A prong-set garnet sticks through a heart-shaped cut-out in the cover. When opened, the locket displays the words "With Love". Strung on a delicate 25 inch (63 cm) long chain. Marked on the bail and the clasp "925". The locket measures .90 inches (2.3 cm) long and .75 inches (1.9 cm) wide. Total weight of 5 grams. In fantastic condition, showing just a hint of wear. A lovely, wearable piece of jewelry.
