WEST PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND Vintage Steuben Lyre Leaded Crystal Vase 1962 The Steuben “Lyre” clear crystal vase stands 8” tall. The classic Steuben design, gracefully flows downward from a five-inch round top into a narrowing shape, forming the two flared leaflets attached to the solid bottom base. The overall design is both smooth & elegant, lifting from the lower portion and opening out into its rounded lip. The manufactures choice of “Lyre” in naming this stylish vase, suggests the classic “symbol of material harmony (Steuben catalog). The Steuben designer was Lloyd Arkins, & his series 8113 “Lyre” leaded crystal vertical vase, in 1962 was a popular item. Size: 8” in height, 3” base, 5” rounded top edge MINT CONDITION...NO BOX
