This is an auction for a Three Piece Set of STEUBENVILLE POTTERY featuring a Teapot, Creamer or Milk Jug and Sugar. We are cleaning out Grandma's china closet and offering this set for sale now. We are unsure of the pattern name, but one of the pieces is marked 497 on the bottom. The pattern features a lovely brown and yellow floral design as well as blue cornflowers and hints of orange and green. The teapot measures about 9" from handle to spout. It is in excellent condition except for a small niche or flake off of the inner side of the teapot lid. We have photographed this up close for you to view, but this is only seen and felt from the bottom of the inside lid. The main background of each piece is a cream color, and t is some brownish spots on this creamware. No other chips or cracks or breakages are present on any of the other pieces. The teapot is fairly large, maybe 4 to 6 cups. The bottom is marked with the Steubenville mark. The creamer and sugar are excellent with no chips, cracks, repairs, or breakages. The creamer measures approximately 5" from handle to spout. The creamer also stands approximately 3 1/2" tall. The sugar with lid is also free from chips, cracks, repairs, but does contain age-related crazing. This is the only piece with crazing. Each piece is stamped with the Steubenville mark.
