From an estate is this nice old WWII era (1940's) store advertising display poster for Holsum Bread. Poster is heavy paper and looks like a long calendar with a thin metal strip with hanger on top and metal strip on bottom. Poster is approximately 35 inches long by 11 3/4 inches wide. This poster has been rolled up for many years and is in excellent condition. Doesn't appear to have ever been displayed as colors are nice and vibrant. Poster has a tiny nick of paper off one side which I have a photo of. Back side of poster has a little soil and staining but not bad. Poster says "When We Were A Couple Of Kids" and at the bottom says "Don't Say Bread Say Holsum". Poster has an older couple looking at a tree with their names carved into it and a picture of them as young kids courting at the bottom of picture. Poster has no other markings that I can find anywhere. I purchased this from a lady that said her Grandparents had a grocery many years ago and probably was from the store. This would look great displayed in a poster frame. I also have 2 other posters like this listed only with different pictures. Happy to combine shipping. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
